SOTD- Sunday January 11th: French Avenue’s Amber Empire

It’s super cold where I am today, so I need something to cut through the bitter chill. This one is perfect. It’s a very close dupe of Clive Christian’s Blonde Amber with excellent performance. I have a decant of Blonde Amber, and have done a couple side by side comparisons, both on paper and on skin. I find the French Ave version a little easier to wear- maybe a tad more fresh than the OG. If you like Blonde Amber, but you don’t want to pay the hefty price tag, give this one a shot. I like Blonde Amber, but not for the price tag. I’m thankful for a dupe like this so I can still experience that DNA.

I get about 8 hours on skin with good projection for about 6 hours. After about 10 hours, it becomes a skin scent. Outstanding performance for the $45 price range.
