SOTD - Perseus Triumphant by Argos

Perseus Triumphant is not my favorite Argos release, but it is the most interesting of what I have tried so far. Based on my limited experience, this is one of the louder fragrances when sprayed initially. There is a burst of saffron and bright floral notes. I believe it's the combination of the rose, saffron and cardamom that creates this prominent, spicy, and powdery accord with a trace of oud and leather in the background. As it dries down, the powdery and sweet notes abate, and the leather and oud start to come out, but the rose hangs on. I like it, but currently, I don't feel strongly enough to recommend. However, I would not discourage anyone from trying it. Although the genre is not new, I believe it offers something a bit different.
