Reached for Bleu Noir today thinking I wanted something “blue” but this one definitely isn’t that shower gel type freshie. On the opening I’m getting this soft milky vibe. Not cardamom, not citrus, just this smooth creamy feeling with a little wood behind it. It’s subtle and calm, not loud at all.
I was wondering why I’m smelling that milkiness and after looking into it, it actually makes sense. Narciso uses this really creamy musk in all their scents. It’s not bright or sharp like Bleu de Chanel. It’s more of a smooth skin-like thing, almost like clean warm skin instead of a fresh blast. The vetiver and cedar in here aren’t harsh either so they kind of blend in and make that creamy feeling even stronger.
Not what I expected today but I’m enjoying the softness of it.
Anyone else get that milky opening from this one?
