Good Morning and Happy Friday Frag Family
Chicago is giving us a spring preview with temps in the mid 60s, but the forecast says snow tomorrow. That is the dangerous part because one warm day makes people forget it is still winter in the Chi. Stay alert and move wisely.
After wearing something deep and rich yesterday, I wanted a brighter energy today while still keeping some depth. My scent of the day is Mavro by Gissah. It opens with zesty sweet citrus alongside pink pepper and saffron. In the mids I get praline adding a smooth sweetness. As it settles, it becomes a deep woody blend of cedar, tonka, and patchouli. The tonka bean brings a creamy sweetness that rounds everything out beautifully.
It took me a long time to track this one down and of course when I found it, it was the 200ml bottle which is wild in itself. No regrets though. This fresh spicy woody monster performs.
Longevity is easily 8 plus hours. Projection is nuclear. Sillage is outstanding for the first few hours.
This one is an exuberant 8.75 for me.
Enjoy the warmth today, prepare for the snow tomorrow, and as always smell amazing doing it. Be safe and be blessed.
