11:31 AM First Spray
Today’s scent of the day is Fig Me Up by Mancera.
Right off the spray, you get that earthy green snap from rhubarb and fig leaf. It is not just fruity. There is a slightly tart almost vegetal greenness that keeps the sweetness from getting out of control. Then the plum and fig nectar start warming things up. There is already a jammy undertone but it feels balanced.
Projection early on was strong. A solid scent bubble without being overwhelming.
Around 30 to 45 Minutes Into the Mids
Now we are in the mids.
The oud starts to peek through with a faint funk when my skin warms up. Not barnyard just a subtle earthy depth. When I cooled down the fruitiness floated back up and the fig and plum combo felt almost candy like. Not Skittles but definitely jammy.
This is where the fragrance gets interesting. It shifts depending on heat and airflow.
Around 4 Hours Drydown
At this point it is softening into
Creamy sandalwood
Smooth musk
Lingering tonka and toffee sweetness
The oud blends into the structure and stops announcing itself. It becomes more of a sweet gourmand fig wrapped in woods.
Still a pleasant scent bubble but no longer projecting heavily.
5 Plus Hours Skin Scent
Now it is
Sandalwood
Musk
Tonka sweetness
Completely a skin scent. Soft sweet and comforting.
Overall Thoughts
A beautiful sweet gourmand fig fragrance with a green opening and a smooth musky drydown.
Perfect for mild to cool weather. You can spray this a little heavier without choking anyone out. Definitely full bottle worthy for me.
