SOTD - Dua Vetiver Trails

My Dua order came in yesterday and I am very excited about Vetiver Trails, the inspired version of Creed Wild Vetiver. Vetiver Trails is, as far as I know, the first inspo of Wild Vetiver out there. I was lucky enough to get a free sample of Creeds Wild Vetiver in a purchase from Rescented. I really liked that but I have no intention of paying the price of a full bottle. I tried them both side by side last night in a quick comparison. The Dua opens louder and to my nose and sweeter. Louder is probably due to it being an extrait and the OG is an EDP. It is very similar in the dry down where both a little more woodsy. Are they close? Yes, but the Dua projects and performs better and is less smooth and refined than the original. Isn't that the case with most, if not all inspirations? But for the price, the Dua is well worth it. (Especially when they have a sale going on.)
