SOTD: Blonde Amber by Clive Christian

Another day in the frozen tundra that is Chicago, but I’m truly blessed to be in the land of the living and one day closer to the weekend—so no complaints over here. Gratitude always comes first.

Today’s SOTD is a first wear / first impression of Blonde Amber by Clive Christian, and whew… this one is something. Exceptionally smooth and beautifully well-rounded, with real depth and layers that keep unfolding. Resinous, mildly sweet, a touch of spice, a boozy warmth, and a bright, uplifting opening that pulls it all together. It’s one of those fragrances where the nuances are so refined it’s hard to put everything into words.

I absolutely understand why this sits at such a high price point—this is opulence in a bottle. That said, retail is a bit too rich for my blood 😅, but I do have a line on a bottle from a private seller, so we’ll see how that unfolds.

Initial rating is a solid 8.75, with strong potential to climb higher as I spend more time with it.
