Alexandria Fragrances / The Irish Gentleman

— it feels like spring is right around the corner ( no matter what Punxsutawney Phil says ) so I went with this almost 1:1 clone of Creed Greed Irish Tweed from Alexandria. Now I do own both and did own an o/g bottle back in the day, and I almost think I prefer the Alexandria over the Creed at this point. Irish Gentleman opens “wetter” and greener if that makes sense more like the the older versions while my newer bottle of GIT ( 2019 ) opens brighter and lighter-imo-

That’s pretty much the only difference that I can tell, the mids through the dry down these become almost indistinguishable except the performance of Irish Gentleman is a bit stronger and definitely last longer, more like the original …

— this is very similar to my take on the newer Ralph Lauren Polo Green and Alexandria’s Vintage 1978 where Alexandria nailed the o/g Polo …
