Ambroxan, the name brand of the generic molecule ambroxide, (more specific info about this can be found here) is a synthetic fragrance ingredient used in perfumery. Due to its ability to blend well with other ingredients, ambroxan is often featured in modern colognes to provide pow-wah 🤣 and projection!!! Smelling my sample of Ambroxan: Immediately, it's powerful, filling the nostrils and permeating the room! It has this warm, slightly sweet aroma that reminds me of sun-warmed wood and freshly washed linen, combined with a subtle, almost salty muskiness. There's a slight underlying amber note that adds just a touch of rich, velvety smoothness, giving the scent both a comforting and sophisticated feel. With my sample though, the woodiness really overpowers, I have to really look for the amber parts! If left open in the room, it'll waft throughout the house!! As it lingers, earthiness comes through and a clean freshness seems to wrap around me.…

While Ambroxan can be found in many, many different frags, I chose these two as close representations of powerful ambroxan frags. Molecule 02 being purely comprised of the stuff!!
