Today I’m still working from home, and same as yesterday, I’m trying flankers of some iconic vintage fragrances that I never learned about until recent months. I bought the OG out of nostalgia, but as same as Cool Water, the actual formulation is unrecognizable to my olfactory memory.
Drakkar Intense surprised me with a heavy green and slightly citrusy aroma at the opening, but that changed very quickly to a woody nuance coming from the coriander that neither last too long. As it dries down the lavender takes over overshadowing the rest of the accords, leaving a very floral powdery (licorice like), a bit sweet and mussy scent. Definitely mature, vintage and classic, but not bad at all.
