Perfume Parlour

Thought I would write something on Perfume Parlour in Leicester, UK, since I keep talking about them and a couple of others have started mentioning them. They are great guys who produce dupe and own fragrances. We are about a 50-60 minute drive away from them and it's the only place I've found locally where you can also test fragrances from Lattafa, Rasasi, Armaf and so on in-store.

They've been around since 2004 and do ship internationally. We've just had a 10% tariff imposed on the UK so they are still pretty affordable. They do a range of products on each fragrance - sprays, car fragrance, roller balls, body wash, all sorts. Typical sizes for an EDP are 2ml and10ml testers/travel size, and 50ml and 100ml bottles. I believe there are a few 200ml. The Extrait versions are in 15ml, 30ml and 60ml square bottles with black wood-effect caps.

Our collection is shown below. My wife's on the left, mine on the right and a couple missing I couldn't find. Most notable mentions:

Avalanche Silk = Creed Queen of Silk (100ml) - my wife's favourite for evenings out (like last night), projects well, lasts ages and smells very expensive.

Noble Lady = PDM Delinea (50ml) - one of her favourite daytime wears.

Sweet II = Travel bottle with pale brown label - the PP Ladies no. 1 best seller - vanilla overload, very sweet.

Herb Garden = PDM Layton (£18 for 50ml) - my absolute favourite so far, EDT and Extrait 15ml. Love it.

Stellarius Lux = PDM Althair. Another vanilla heavy one with some spiciness in the dry-down. Also love it.

I also have an Aventus clone in a 10ml - like the Althair one but with a black Creed-ish label that I can't find but tbh performance isn't great on me. There are also a few smaller 2ml that have dropped somewhere and got lost.

At the front with gold caps and atomisers we have the new Midnight Collection. My favourite is Beautifully Elegant, but they are all nice.
