Mancera Comparisons
Recently got two discovery boxes from Mancera, and to be honest they did not disappoint. I've tried some from Parfums De Marley, Maison Margeila, Montale and a few other random indie/Niche houses. Mancera is the one that has stood out so far. Although I am always open to recommendations.
Hindu Kush.
A dark, resinous & earthy fragrance that balances a smoky green cannabis accord with spicy incense, woody oud & a warm, ambery finish. 8/10
Red Tobacco
A powerhouse fragrance that hits you with an unapologetic blast of medicinal spice & dark oud before settling into a warm, beast-mode blend of smoky tobacco & creamy vanilla. 10/10
Wild Leather
A bold, sophisticated powerhouse that balances a sharp, smoky leather accord with earthy patchouli & a surprisingly radiant touch of white flowers. 8.5/10
Amore Caffe
A cozy, gourmand embrace that captures the essence of a decadent Italian affogato, blending a sharp kick of black coffee with the creamy sweetness of vanilla ice cream & a boozy hint of amaretto. 9.5/10
Cherry Cherry
A bold, long-lasting fragrance that balances a syrupy, medicinal black cherry top note with a sophisticated heart of powdery heliotrope & a warm, musky leather base. 7.5/10
Tonka Cola
A bold, effervescent fragrance that captures the nostalgic zing of a spicy cherry cola as it settles into a warm, sophisticated blend of cinnamon, labdanum, with creamy tonka bean. 8.5/10
Ombre Tonka
A rich, balsamic fragrance that balances the smoky depth of tobacco & incense with the creamy, almond-like sweetness of tonka bean & vanilla for a dark yet cozy vibe. 7.5/10
Intense Red Tobacco
A powerhouse fragrance that opens with a medicinal, spicy blast of saffron & cinnamon before settling into a dense, smoky fusion of rich tobacco & sweet amber that lasts for days. 10/10
Amber Fever
A sultry, sophisticated fusion of warm resins and boozy sweetness, balanced by a smooth floral heart & a rich, woody base that creates a powerful, head-turning trail. 7.5/10
Gold Incense
A bold, resinous fragrance that balances the smoky depth of incense with spicy pepper & a smooth, woody sweetness.
8.5/10
These could all end up as full bottles on my shelf. There are however 5 that I would pick first so what are your favourites & more importantly what should I be looking to try out next?
