Lately, I’ve been on a spree of giving negative reviews to the new fragrances I’ve tried, and I guess it’s just part of the journey. This one, however, is different. When I saw the mango note, I thought, “I love mangoes!” so I ordered a sample. I just tried it on a few minutes ago, and for the first time ever, I actually wanted the scent to just disappear from my skin. It was overpowering, cloying, synthetic and just a syrupy sweet mess. I was shocked when I saw it had a 4.3/5 rating on Fragrantica. Either I’m not the right audience for this, or maybe it’s getting some paid hype. One reviewer described it as a “tropical Sauvage” and I can’t STAND Sauvage. I even tried scrubbing it off with soap and water, and it still wouldn’t go 💀. Has anyone else had a similar experience with this fragrance?
