First Impressions- YSL Y Iced Cologne

Finally was able to get my hands on the new release in the Y line. Just doing some testing today, and I’ll give it a full wearing tomorrow.

I have the EDP, but I don’t wear it much as I find it a bit too punchy and headache inducing for my liking. The EDT smells great but doesn’t last very long. This one seems to sit right in the middle. It opens with that signature blast of Y DNA mixed with a cool minty accord that’s very refreshing. As it settles, it becomes that very familiar Y scent.

If you own the EDP or EDT, this is redundant, and I wouldn’t recommend it. I see myself wearing this more than I did the EDP because it’s not as in-your-face as I find the EDP to be. Projection and longevity are still to be seen, but seem to be pretty good. I sprayed on my arm around 4 hours ago and I can smell it projecting well still. Hopefully we get some decent longevity out of this. More to come tomorrow.
