Disaster averted!!!!! 😱

So I was moving a few fragrance bottles around on my little tiered shelf, when something from the top row suddenly started sliding down, taking out everthing below it! I managed to quickly stop the avalanche, but not before a couple of small bottles bounced off of my clothes hanging below the shelf and hit both the carpet and tile below. Luckily nothing broke, thanks to the cloth jacket that embraces Burberry London, and the other couple of bottles hitting the carpet before bouncing onto the tile in the closet.

The culprit was my beloved CH Bad Boy Cobalt Elixir! The freaking plastic stand came unglued from the massive bottle, releasing this heavy glass, stlagtite-like object into a free-slide, headed towards whatever waits below. This is very concerning, and I'll have to clean off whatever adhesive crap they use and reattach it with an epoxy, but wow, I'm glad I was right there, glad it didn't hit the floor or my foot!

This has really made me think about putting something softer than tile below where I keep my fragrances, since other mishaps could easily occur.
