Artisan Blue Varvatos

I gave this a wear today to test out for my upcoming vacation.

This one is a great option if you like me don't kike typical blue fragrances but want something for warmer weather or gym. It has an herbasciuos and aromatic open with the basil and lavender being prominent. More barshop than blue but citrus is there.

It is surprising potent for a Varvatos fragrance. Perhaps more than I wanted and would want in this kind of fragrance as the lavender and basil push out.

One knock would be the quality of the atomizer which is not the greatest and might have contributed to a concentrated blast rather than a cloud.

Overall a strong option for anyone looking for a solid blue adjacent gym or hot water fragrance. Might be a pass for the trip as I have other options and not sure a gym barbershop is the vacation vibe. Thinking I want to go for a more springtime and woody vibe than aromatic and frankly kind of green scent. I have to be in the right mood for them and prefer them to have a weaker performance to fade into the background a bit more.

Overall one I am going to pull back out when temps soar into triple digits or before a workout or a run or be outside where the potency of the green notes will have room to bloom off my skin more.
