Gentlemen, I wanted to share a find with you: a fantastic family-owned small business called Cooper Still Fragrances. I first heard about them from either

Their fragrances are deeply inspired by the Kentucky backwoods Appalachian distilling traditions, with their scents revolving around bourbon and moonshine. The house currently offers four scents. Their Signature Fragrance, an Extrait De Parfum, honors their bourbon whiskey heritage with top notes of honey, maple, plum, and toffee; mid notes of bourbon whiskey and corn; and base notes of oak, spice, tobacco, and vanilla. They also have Shine Punch, Watermelon Shine, and their newest, released last week, 51 and Cola. The latter is their first flanker that takes the original '51' and transforms it into the classic bourbon and coke scent.

I can’t yet speak to the performance or scent profiles because my order just went in. However, I can share the pricing and unique packaging details: Full Bottles (50ml) cost $129 and come uniquely packaged in a miniature barrel-shaped container. The Discovery Set is $50 and comes in a beautiful wooden keepsake box.

What I can confidently rave about is their outstanding customer service. About a month ago, I reached out to them about ordering samples. The owner, Joshua Alsip, personally advised me to hold off for a couple of weeks because he was about to release a discovery set that would include the latest fragrance. Just last night, I accidentally ordered a second discovery set. I contacted Joshua, and he quickly refunded the price for the duplicate set. He even personally sent me an email confirming it had been taken care of. I know some of you have had great experiences with local small house owners, but I have only experienced this level of exceptional customer service with Cooper Still Fragrances and New Bottle Co.
