This week, we’re talking about our capacity to tackle our nutrition and fitness challenges during the holiday season. The goal is to reach your full potential—to reach your maximum capacity so that you can honor the holiday season while still progressing.
There’s one caveat when it comes to reaching or expanding your capacity, however—it doesn’t apply when you’re eating. (Sorry, guys.) 😉
There is a lot of research that supports eating until you’re 80% full. One reason is that it takes your brain 20-30 minutes to catch up with your stomach. That means your stomach can be full 20-30 minutes before your brain recognizes it, so by that point, you’ve likely surpassed your capacity.
A question that’s often asked is, “But how do I know when I’m 80% full?” Well, friends, I’m glad you asked. Check out the article below to learn how to recognize when you’ve reached approximately 80% capacity. This article also explains more about why 80% is the sweet spot when you’re trying to reach fat loss goals! ⬇️
