Double Walled basket
I am so excited, I did my first double walled basket! I thought it was too advanced for me, but I gave it a shot and it wasn’t too bad. A little tricky in the beginning keeping track of which reeds I was weaving. Pictures show progression from inside basket to completed basket.

Harvest Basket
Tried my hand at another rib basket. Used a piece of bittersweet vine as the rim, seagrass and 1/4” flat reed for weavers. It was fun to let the basket evolve to what it wanted to be and not try to force a shape.

Edible Basket Weaving
It's berry season here in the Pacific Northwest so I made my first blueberry pie. Nothing fancy, next time I'll have to try a twill weave.

Hanging Vase Baskets
My take on the Hanging Vase Baskets. Filled with faux foliage, worked on natural & smoked flat reed of various widths.

Woven hat and shopping cart
I did it! I am so excited to have completed Brittany’s woven hat project! It was a fun project that came together quite smoothly. I thought I was gonna have more trouble with it. It has its flaws but for my first attempt I’m thrilled! I also completed a shopping trolley of sorts. I found a metal framed cart that I then just twined around to give it that basket look. This was a project that took me awhile to complete and had to take lots of breaks from. I am in love and it’s just so exhilarating finishing these projects!
