How to “Fail” Successfully
As a perfectionist… (who is also budget-conscious and a beginner) can someone give me a TedTalk on how to “practice” without feeling like I’m “wasting materials”? I hope you all know the feeling of “well, that didn’t turn out right — what do I do with this now?” It feels like throwing away money when I make something I’m not satisfied with. And how to display or gift something that is wonky or not quite right? On a fundamental level, I understand the value of keeping work that isn’t quite what I’d envisioned in order to look back on it and see how far I’ve come, but I still have that nag in my head who thinks it has to be “perfect or not at all”.

I think already answered this in my email inbox “TI Weekly Digest: Wonky tension and muddy dye jobs - bring it on!”
IT’S LIKE YOU KNEW! Lol
