Low TimePilot jobs - Flight Simulator Centers
If you haven't already looked into Flight Sim Centers (FlightSafety, CAE, etc), they hire pilots with <500 TT for "Right Seat" / "Seat Support" roles. These positions are on-call opportunities and used when the customer doesn't have two pilots to fill both seats in training or proficiency checks. I've heard from several people who have had these roles and they are FANTASTIC ways to network as well as develop comfort with full motion simulators. There are also a ton of them across the country. On the Low Time Pilot company map, you can find and filter these (Flight Sim Centers): https://www.lowtimepilot.com/company-map So, how do you do outreach? The best option is to call the facility and ask to speak to a "Training Manager" ... these are basically the team leads who manage simulator instructors. They are responsible for sourcing right seat pilots as well. I recommend taking a research approach. Say you are looking to learn more about the right seat programs and how they work. Don't go stright for "I', looking for a job" of the operator/ admin will probably refer you to the website. If you can get the Training Manager on the phone, be prepared to ask questions about their business model and how the right seat program fits. Each facility has different sims. Some are dedicated to regional aircraft, some to narrow body, and some are exclusively business jet simulators. They list which sims are located at each facility on their respective websites (also found in the map details).
