PreSonus/Studio One is in trouble due the the buyout by Fender. Lots of lockout/down time. Yep... It sucks, but it may be time to jump, start learning something else. I'm running a solo commercial studio so I can't be at risk of being left high and dry. My DAW history over the past 15 years started with Reaper and Logic. Used ProTools commercially for a few years but thought Avid was a miserable company to work with and no tech support. From there, jumped to Studio One And I like it just fine, after dabbling with Cubase Pro and Ableton. In the composing world, it seems like the top 2 are Logic Pro and Cubase. Since I own both, I've got to make a decision on which one I'm going to learn inside and out. I'm leaning toward Cubase. Thoughts?
