Hi everyone – first off, a big shoutout to Assistable for such an amazing platform. Over the last month, we’ve booked nearly 300 appointments for a moving business using their AI voice and sms bots, with a conversion rate of over 60% from first response to booked calls on one account alone. The performance has been fantastic.
However, we’ve run into a challenge with another account that we need help resolving:

Issue:We do not want the bot to book any appointments before 11:00 AM EST.
Here’s what’s currently happening:
- The bot is correctly asking for the user’s time zone (if not provided initially).
- It converts the user's selected time to Eastern Time internally ✅
- BUT — if the selected time is earlier than 11:00 AM EST, the bot is still automatically booking the appointment for 11:00 AM EST
- It should instead send a message offering 11:00 AM EST converted to the user's local time and ask for confirmation, not auto-book it.
Expected Behavior:
If the converted time is before 11:00 AM EST, the bot should:
- Not book the appointment immediately
- Reply with a message and on postive response book.
