Yo
Little Background
I've been trying to introduce AI receptionist to my local area (Québec in Canada) since.. 3/4months(-4-5k too). I'm semi-proud of that but I started with no knowledge of platforms ( Vapi. Retell, GHL, N8N…) and nothing about laws, slowly losing my momentum. And I'm a 17-year-old, French, dealing with a completely different market than the USA.
In Quebec there is the law 25 (strict about data privacy, you may call that GDPR), I'm trying to figure out how this applies when using a platform like this that records and stores call data. The law is Canada-wide too. So that would be crazy helpful to share how y'all are handling this law.
Main fear
As a user or integrator (here in Quebec for instance), am I legally covered by assistable’s privacy framework? Or I need to get the explicit consent of the caller/ client before storing or reviewing these recordings?
That would be insane if anyone could share the their experience or best practices with it🔥💪🤝
