march retrospective [day 89]
March Retrospective Not where I want to be on revenue. Booking calls but not closing 17 calls in March, zero closes. Mix of bad fit prospects and weak sales execution on my end. Cancelled a few others as well those 17 we're decent prospects. Outreach Metrics Instantly: 2.1k sends, 50% open rate, 4.69% reply rate, 12 opportunities. Cold DM breakdown — X: 864 sends, 3% reply rate, 0.81% booking rate. LinkedIn: 376 invites sent, 131 accepted, 1.3% booking rate. Instagram: 285 DMs sent, 38% reply rate, 2.4% booking rate. Offer Clarity Problem What I'm selling is unclear (Nick flagged this too). Realizations on the newsletter offer: payback period is long so it's a harder sell, and ManyChat automation works as a foot in the door but many prospects don't need anything beyond that. Time Sink Spending too much time hunting for fixes on IG/X outreach and doing excessive prospect research to figure out if they even need what I'm offering. Direction Question My strongest skills are UGC, automation, content creation, content strategy, ghostwriting, email marketing, and newsletters. Content is where I operate best I'm on camera regularly, I learn fast, and I teach what I learn. The offer I've landed on is optimizing call volume for agency owners through organic content, which is also my biggest case study. Two lanes I'm leaning into: UGC teams working with apps, organic content marketing, or going deeper on automation. Thats 3 lanes I just need one. Curious what role or direction others here would point me toward based on that skill stack. Got a family vacation coming up on Wednesday so getting ready for that as well good time for retrospective. im all ears.
