Different what but same why
This question came up during our reflection last week, “How do you start with why when your why keeps evolving”. Page 134 sorta answered the question. From what I understand, your WHY doesn’t change much but your what and how may change. Simon described how Bill Gates’ why for starting Microsoft was his belief that when we remove obstacles, people can work to their greatest potential. He took that same why to his foundation with a goal of removing simple obstacles so people can live to be more productive. His how and what changed but his why remained the same. What do you think? @Nneze Nwankwo @Olapeju Olasokan @Grace Ibeneme @Grace Uhuegbu @Sneha Sujith

Chapter 2
Chapter 2 made me pause and reflect on how often I've manipulated my team by using incentives like a fancy lunch as motivation to hit milestones when we've had to deal with multiple priorities 😃. Sinek doesn’t say these tactics are bad, but he makes it clear they only drive short-term results. So starting today I chose to inspire rather than manipulate!
