Animals showing us what we didn't want to see
I adopted my little dog last summer after she had weaned her six puppies, and just recently one of her puppies was returned to the rescue, so I decided to take her in because it just seemed right. I had no desire to do puppy stuff again, but there you have it. This poor little thing is scared to death of the leash and the harness to the point that she probably would jump through a glass window to get away from it. I don't know what they did to her, but it makes me so sad to see her terrified like that. So obviously I can't take her for walks to help her burn off all that puppy energy, and the destruction she is leaving behind her in my house is impressive. She is obviously bored and too full of energy. Now, I have known a couple animal communicators, and they have taught me that our animals show us, with their own behaviors, things about ourselves we have been refusing to see. So now I'm having to face that, because I am disabled and I'm having difficulty even walking lately, I am not burning off enough energy. And I would freely admit that I'm effing bored. What I wasn't facing was the ways that I am leaving destruction in my path because of that. Not destruction of anyone else. Destruction of me. We do tend to sabotage ourselves sometimes, don't we? And so now I have to thank little Lulu for making me see what I didn't want to see.
