💭 Reflection:
"Well today was full of good intentions. And that's all it was. I had intended to do the board papers, I had intended to do more on the new fish tank. I had intended to get the washing done. Instead, I had to take Dad to the doctor and while he was at the doctors, I had to have blood tests requested by both my GP and my Rheumatologist. I then picked up the prescriptions and had to go and rescue Dad as he ran out of puff, sitting in a commercial driveway while Mum got me because he couldn't get back to the car. So home again, I sat down to do the board papers only to have it hijacked by the boys. They wanted to sell the mollies so that I could get on with the new tank. They were already catching them so I had to abandon the board papers. They only managed to catch 4 mollies, wrecked the plants in the process but I took the 4 down to the pet shop in town and sold them for $3 each. That offset some of the cost of the snail rid that I bought. Once home, I had to deal with the washing. 2 loads to wash, one load to hang, 2 loads to fold. My son's GK football uniform had black marks all over it from the rubber beads on the artificial turf and after 2 scrubs/washes, it still came out black. If anyone has any tips, they would be gratefully received. Anyway, to finish my day off (board papers remain incomplete and a day late), the garage flooded. 3 floods that makes it - so that must be the end of that luck surely? The washing machine has sprung a leak - not sure where so I'll have to have a look tomorrow when it's light. It's not a tonight job."
