Fellow greybeards, I'm having a dilemma. I keep a short full-face beard, number 2 on the OneBlade trimmer, cheeks and neck kept clean shaven. Like my hair the beard is mostly grey. (See my profile pic) I'm not deluding myself by thinking that shaving the beard will make me look younger. I think that healthy habits (and maybe good cosmetic surgery) are the only really effective methods for taking years off your appearance. However I do wonder if presenting all that grey face-forward makes me look older when I present myself in video meetings? Is putting all that grey "in your face" when we meet online emphasizing my age? I'd like to say to hell with it, accept my age and respect my experience or get lost. But in the corporate world ageism is real and I'd like to minimize its effect in my professional interactions. What do you think? Does getting rid of that face-forward grey avoid making a man look older on camera or is it insignificant when there's already grey hair and a receding hairline in the picture?

My fiance and I are getting married. The ceremony will take place at our home (80 acre cattle ranch in front of the large barn) and is themed "Why Knot". Formal attire is NOT required, but still trying to keep it classy. Looking for ideas for dress that are classy, but fun. Perhaps a non-traditional cut. Black is my favorite color with stainless/titanium accents. Not a big fan of bow ties. Suggestions? Recent Photo of me for inspiration.

After over 20 years of being at an unhealthy weight, I can finally fit back into the Zegna "soft" jackets that my wife bought me at the beginning of our marriage! This one looks mostly brown to me, but my wife said it looked mostly green to her. So I uploaded the picture to Gemini and asked it to settle our difference. The white tissue in the pocket is so the AI had a reference point. Gemini analyzed the colors and suggested color pairings for a shirt and pants. It even categorized its suggestions into "safest," "modern," "sharp casual," and "bold." All of its suggestions agree with the style advice I've seen in Antonio's videos, although Antonio's advice is more detailed and extensive than the AI offered. I'll be wearing these jackets every chance I get!

So this morning I get up like usual and get dressed and have coffee with my wife of 33 yrs. Best part of my day is having coffee with her before I run out. She looked at me this morning and said "WOW"!! You look amazing! Then she said "You have always put yourself together" but you have taken it to another level!! Whatever you're doing keep it up!! This my friends means EVERYTHING to me!! While I am doing this for me, it is also wonderful that My loving wife notices and supports it. She's not jealous or thinking that I am trying to impress anyone other than myself and maybe her. I can't thank everyone in this group enough for all the support and knowledge that I have gained in taking my style to the next level. While my wife is not in these forums, She says "Thank you" as well. Have an amazing Tuesday everyone!!

Save for dress shirts, I am adamantly opposed to tucking in shirts. I don’t even tuck in polos when I’m golfing. However, as you can see from my impromptu Walmart bathroom shot, denim jackets and motorcycle jackets are notoriously short because you don’t want to lean back on them while riding and restricting your arm movement. That said, is it a faux-pas to have shirt tails like this with my Canadian Tuxedo?
