The Sober Rebel Podcast
šŸŽ™ļø The Sober Rebel Podcast is a short, trauma-informed show for people who are sober from alcohol and dedicated to building a stable, values-driven life without it. This is not a space for the sober-curious. It's for folks who have chosen to live alcohol-free and want tools, structure, and real-world support to maintain that choice. Each episode is brief — meant to be listened to, applied, and reflected on immediately. You’ll walk away with actionable insights, journal prompts, or practices for the same day. šŸ”“ Topics We Cover The podcast is built around the Beyond BARS Coaching framework, which promotes long-term sobriety, reentry, and positive behavior change. BARS stands for: • Behavior change – breaking old habits and forming new ones • Action – doing the work, even when motivation dips • Resilience – boosting your ability to stay grounded during stress, transition, and discomfort • Sobriety – protecting and honoring an alcohol-free life ⚔ The FAST Method You’ll notice this framework often — because it delivers results. FAST = • Foundation – routines, regulation, and structure • Accountability – follow-through, support, and honest reflection • Support – community, coaching, and connection • Tools – practical skills to revisit repeatedly This method aims to answer a key question: ā€œWhat really helps people stay sober after the structure falls away?" šŸ’œ The 3 Pillars We Build On Every episode ties back to the three pillars supporting lasting sobriety: • Nourishment – how you fuel your body, mind, and nervous system • Self-Care – regulation, rest, movement, and boundaries • Personal Development – identity, purpose, work, and growth Sobriety is more than just abstaining from alcohol — it’s about learning how to live well without it. šŸ‘„ Who This Podcast Is For • People who are sober from alcohol • People in recovery or with long-term sobriety • System-impacted individuals navigating reentry • Those rebuilding life after rehab, incarceration, or major transition

My name is Vanessa (they/them), and I have been a Sober Rebel since 12/9/2020. I just celebrated šŸŽ‰ 5 years. The main goal for this Skool community is to provide genuine connection and support for folks on their Sober Rebel journey. If I could change one thing about my Sober Rebel journey, it would be having more sober activities and mocktail options available at all restaurants. Here’s to your Sober Rebel journey! 🌱✨

@Ciara Short!!! 🧔✨ Thank you so much for introducing yourself and for being here. 10 months of sobriety is HUGE, and it shows in how grounded, thoughtful, and generous you are with your support and perspective. I love what you shared about wishing you’d seen the possibility sooner — that insight alone will help so many other Rebels who are earlier in their journey. You truly embody what sustainable sobriety can look like: not just abstaining, but thriving, expanding, and choosing yourself. Your belief in this work and your willingness to stand beside me mean more than I can say. Beyond BARS exists because of women like you — living proof that nervous–system–supported sobriety works. So grateful you’re part of this community, Ciara. Here's to 10 months strong and everything still unfolding ahead. šŸŒ±šŸ”„
