Each stage represents a different point, mindset and emotion in the customer journey. Each stage requires a specific messaging/copy to guide them to make a purchase. (Or content for each funnel level like Top of the funnel, middle and Bottom.) Your job is to hold their hand and persuade at each step to take action for the next one. This isn’t your High School English Exam, make sure you don’t use complicated words. Simple messaging always works more than complicated one. The goal is to make them purchase, not to participate in an essay writing competition. Always remember, Simplicity Scales. Complexity Fails. People buy from emotions, they go through a whole emotional journey before buying anything. Strong desires for their emotion makes them go blind. Use this to your advantage. Don’t go against their emotions, that would push them away. Connect the perceived idea, which the audience has deeply rooted and is expecting for their problem.
