Stop Guessing Assignment [sports/ortho, 2024]
Assignment #1: My biggest takeaway is Hustling for clients is respectable and necessary at first, but it’s not sustainable in the long run. Assignment #2: My biggest concern/challenge is My biggest concern right now is not being able to properly identify the holes in my business infrastructure and knowing exactly where to focus to build a more predictable, scalable practice
Profit is Created Assignment [sports/ortho, 2024]
Assignment #1: My biggest takeaway is My biggest takeaway is that sales doesn’t have to be pushy or manipulative. Done right, it can actually be a great way to build rapport, educate clients, and help them see the value of what I offer. Assignment #2: My biggest concern/challenge is My biggest challenge is not shying away from hard conversations and knowing what to say at the right time. I’m big on educating clients and being an active listener, but I’ve realized that alone doesn’t always convert to long term commitments or new clients. One of the areas I’m still working on is enrolling more cash based clients, especially when they ask about insurance.

The Income Illusion Assignment [sports/ortho, 2024]
Question #1: My biggest takeaway is I need to trust the process and the “compounding” effect that word of mouth and referrals from great client results can have on the growth of my business.. not just expect “overnight” results. I also need to trust the process of investing in myself, learning, and putting in the work to build a predictable and scalable practice. Question #2: My biggest concern/challenge is Sometimes my biggest challenge is to delegate properly so that I can be successful. That means allocating my time, effort, and energy to where it’s most needed and then delegating tasks in areas that will help me grow, especially when it comes to building my practice and improving my business skills.

The Cash DPT Rookie Assignment as a [sports/ortho, 2024]
Question #1: My biggest takeaway is The biggest takeaway is realizing that to really grow my practice, I need to bring the same confidence to the business side, learning systems, processes, and strategies so my growth is just as intentional as the care I provide. I know I can show up and provide quality care and results to my clients & I need to start showing up with the same confidence to learn how to run a business. Question #2: My biggest concern/challenge is I want to put in the work to get where I need to be, but sometimes the fear of guessing the wrong next steps can paralyze me. I also catch myself comparing my progress to clinicians and practices that have been successful long before me.

Assignment 1- Train your mindset
1. I am from the Carolinas! 2. What stage is your practice at? I recently launched my own solo PT practice and have been up and running for just under a year. Right now, I’m focused on building a steady client base and figuring out the best ways to scale my business while continuing to provide 1-on-1, high-quality care. 3. What are you looking to learn? I want to learn how to create predictable, repeatable systems for client acquisition and retention, and how to scale my practice without losing the personalized care that sets it apart from the all too familiar turn-and-burn outpatient life. Excited to learn from everyone here!
