I haven't been banned again this week so here goes...
FFS, people, can we collectively, as a community of entrepreneurs, end all of the sensationalist peacocking as it relates to money made? Every tutorial and video I watch is all about nothing other than the spectacle of "so and so made $128MM dollars this month" and it's ALWAYS GROSS REVENUE WHICH IS WORTHLESS (unless you are the credit card processor collecting 2.9% + .30 per transaction and I don't see Stripe in here)! As Brian Tracy stated decades ago: "Don't tell me what you made. Tell me what you kept." All this sensationalist nonsense for starry eyed newbies is pathetic and borders on the criminal. If you're going to peacock and make income claims, do us all a favor and show the actual net net numbers (like you do the MFers at the IRS so you can avoid paying taxes you don't owe). If your income claims wouldn't survive a forensic audit (something I'm guessing most of you have never even heard, conducted, or been on the receiving end of), don't make them. It's disingenuous and only makes all Internet entrepreneurs look like a bunch of foaking con artists and that reputation is already too well deserved by many. If honesty and transparency are an issue for you....that speaks volumes. Be better. Be the example people should look up to. Don't be a shill for a shekel. <rant over....for now...don't worry, Sam I Am will be along to ban me again in 3-2-1...and that's fine because if that's the case, I don't want to be in a community that advocates false advertising, fraud in the inducement, fraud in the factum, and racketeering anyway> And if you think this is funny or idiotic, it's only because you've never had the silver bracelets put on you and haven't been thrown in a cage. I have. Numerous times. Trust me on this: it's not some place you EVER want to go and there ain't no money or fake Lambos and bikinis lifestyle that's worth it, I can assure you. Be best!

There is a lot of super USEFUL stuff here too. Ultimately… In a world of useful and non useful ideas… The cure is for someone to think clearly for themselves. Anything can be something used to benefit OR bitch about.
🔥$154,000 Auction on Skool (Skool Vs FB)
I predict Skool Auctions will be the new webinars. A little over a week ago, I ran what I call a 24-Hour Fun Auction on Skool. It went nutz zongo. 🤯 $34,000 winning bid. (Money bank wired.) $120,000 post-auction sales. The last 60 seconds were crazy! The auction had 500+ comments in 24 hours and my group is 450 peeps. My members had a BLAST! I had so much fun, too! I've run auctions on FB groups and done okay, but Skool is WAY better at auction engagement because of better reach. Skool really blew FB away in post-auction sales because the DM is so much easier on Skool. When it comes to engagement and MAKING $ALE$... Skool shellacks FB bootie! Thank you @Sam Ovens! Rooting For Ya, Travis

Lessons from The #1 Trading Community On Skool
Had the chance to do a podcast with Mike & Troy — two of the most successful and genuine creators on the platform. During the conversation, they literally gave away all their "best stuff" and "secrets" for running a profitable community that changes people's lives here on Skool. Hope you guys find it useful! — Matt

@Matthew Thompson thank you! What is the name of Mike and Troy’s Skool?
Can you really charge $50 a month?
Recently, @Ted Carr posted an article which might just change my life and my entire mindset on info products and online business. In his post, he mentioned a $50 a month community as a step... which I absolutely LOVE... But I need a little bit more validation for the belief that people will pay that and some reasoning behind that amount in particular...

I can't speak for ya, but I don't trust my "beliefs" or "thoughts." I run a real-life test and let the data decide. My beliefs and other people's beliefs are wrong soooo often. Everything amazing was once BELIEVED NOT possible: sending someone to the moon, nuking a potato in minutes, holding more computing power in our hands than was available in the US in the 70s.
New features: Action posts + Pin post to module
Sometimes you want your members to take action. For example: Introduce yourself and share a photo of your workspace, or... Play this song on the guitar and share a video of you doing it. Simple actions make your community more interactive and fun. Remember the ice bucket challenge? Action posts — Describe the action you want your members to complete. When somebody comments, the action will be marked as complete. Pinning posts to modules — Now you can pin posts to course modules to make them more practical and interactive. For example: Your first module could be "Welcome! Start here" and give a quick overview of how things work with a call to action at the end to introduce themself and share a photo. You can pin any post to a module, it doesn't have to be an action post. You could pin posts relevant to the module, or a post with the title: "Module XYZ - Questions/discussion here" and use it as a comments section. Your turn: Complete this action by telling us what you think?
