We're all addicted... 😻
This one goes out to your significant other ❤️ If you are someone with a partner, how are you navigating obsurd amounts of time on skool and maintaining the relationship? For me, I've set times in the evenings where I turn off my devices to focus on connection and building my relationship. (I didn't do the best job at this tonight, which is what inspired this post) Skool's great, but not for the sacrifice of our relationships with real people. (yes you guys are real chill out) Would love to hear how everyones experience is going with this!

I am considering changing my free group to a $9/month group
👉 I am considering changing my free group to a $9/month group here's why: My premise for having a free group is building new relationships and having them in one place. I've used email for years for this, but connection has gotten harder. I've built an fb group in the past (only 990 members) and the thing I didn't like was the low engagement., I THRIVE on engagement. So with the free skool group, the engagement is fun. But it still remains that I prefer to teach and only talk with people online when there is a serious way I can help them. With the free group, I am finding myself compelled to comment on everything . . , and most of it is not me giving helpful advice. I MUCH prefer the help I've been giving in these comments and posts. 👉The biggest reason I haven't gone to paid for the free group in the past is two-fold: 1) I viewed it as a way to build audience. But now I am seeing that the audience (YOU) right here in the Skool group is just as much of an audience as "my own free group" 2)I wanted my clients to have a ready-made group THEY could use as practice. (and yes, I'm going to ask them this same question on my live weekly coaching call in the next hour) 👉But if I were to remove those 2 criteria, I am left with the stark truth that: a) I don't like fluffy social media. I want to pick and choose and ONLY comment when the question is interesting or I can add genuine value, which I find I am doing BETTER in 10 groups like this than my own free group b) The cheap paywall keeps out the spammers (I have 12 trying to get in right now), and the low-interaction people who just joined to "see" what I am doing - but never post and drive engagement down the money doesn't matter to me . . . I make good money at $97/month and $1000 - $10 clients the $9/month would be a moat to keep those above types of people out and then: 👉The RESULT: because I am no longer spending my time sorting spammers and people who never post, etc I can spend my time giving GENUINE VALUE in my group

@Jenny Capella Thank you Jenny!
👋
New(er) to Skool and cannot believe the stark contrast in experience b/t this and Facebook. I have a FB group of 3.5K and content visibility is 😵‍💫. I love how helpful so many community leaders are here and the scroll is like unearthing gold. Pretty good learning curve here but A genuinely good experience so far! Thankful for so many creatives and solid business contacts I am already connecting with. If I can add value to you, please message me. I am in the health & wellness business niche here. 🙌

@Christopher E. Thanks so much!
🦄 How i grew to 495 members is 3 weeks with 0 followers
3 weeks into my free Skool community (which I didn't know if I wanted in the first place) and I already grew to 495 members with 87% engagement and made over 5 figures from my high-ticket offer. What did I do right? So, first of all, I created this Skool to 'park' the clients who weren't ready to move forward with my high-ticket offer yet, so I could nurture them. In other words, it was a place to provide value for free, specifically, to offer everything I am doing in my high-ticket offer for free to them here, so they could make the decision to invest faster and easier... (we all know that people will pay for the implementation in the high-ticket offer and not just for the information itself in most cases). Well, it turned out to work way better than I could ever imagine. Skool turned out to be 10 times better than any other kind of lead magnet, and the more free value you provide, the more calls you book and the more clients you close. So, if you're running a high-ticket offer, try the following: Step 1: Create a free private Skool account. Step 2: Create a course that solves one of the 3-4 problems that your Ideal Customer Profile (ICP) has. Step 3: Offer to solve that one problem FOR FREE with them. Step 4: Upsell your high-ticket offer after they've already solved problem 1, so you can address the rest for them. Those steps alone can 3X to 5X your revenue in the first month. P.S. I'm thinking of creating a 30-day challenge so we can create the free Skool group together step-by-step and integrate the full system into your business(For Free). Let me know what you think! P.P.S. You can find the full system here: skool.com/solopreneur
