How to Appeal GBP Suspension Without Usual Docs?
Hi Zanet, I hope you're doing well! I’m currently learning more about Google Business Profile through your local SEO course, and I have a question regarding suspended business profiles. From what I’ve noticed, even though the reasons for suspension can be different, the appeal process usually asks for the same supporting documents — like what you can see in the screenshot I’ve attached. The challenge is, for many small businesses, local services, or even rental spaces, they often don’t have official business licenses. Sometimes, the billing name doesn’t even match the business name listed on Google, which makes it tricky to provide the “right” documents for the appeal. In cases like this, what’s the best way to handle the appeal process? Any tips on what documents or explanations actually help get reinstated for these kinds of businesses? Thanks a lot in advance!

@Zane Shawn Clements Thanks for the helpful insights! You mentioned that you have a few videos on this topic on your YouTube channel — could you please share which specific videos you were referring to, and if possible, include the links? That would be really helpful. Thanks in advance!
How to Fix Local Pack Rankings Being 'Pushed Down' in Local Falcon Report?
Hi Zanet, I recently ran a scan using Local Falcon for my business's Google Business Profile, and I noticed a significant drop in my rankings across several grid points. The report specifically mentions that my business is “being pushed down” in the local results. I’ve attached the Local Falcon report file for your reference. I’d really appreciate any insights on: 1. What does “being pushed down” typically indicate in Local Falcon reports? 2. What are the most common causes behind this issue? (e.g., competitor activity, GBP changes, review drops, etc.) 3. What steps can I take to identify the cause and recover my local rankings? Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance! Best regards, Tomy

How Important is Having a Website for Local SEO Rankings?
Hi Zanet, I would like to ask for some insights regarding the role of a website in local SEO rankings. From my observation, I’ve noticed that some local businesses are able to rank in the top 3 positions on Google’s local search results even though they don’t seem to have a proper website. Instead, they primarily use social media accounts like Instagram to showcase their business. This made me wonder:Is having a dedicated website still considered essential for achieving good rankings in local SEO? Or can a well-optimized Google Business Profile combined with active social media presence be enough to reach the top spots? I would appreciate if anyone could share their experience or insights regarding this topic. Thank you in advance!

The reason I’m asking is because I manage a local business and we are currently working on improving our local SEO performance. We do have a website, but I’ve noticed that some competitors in our area rank very well (top 3 in Google local pack) even though they rely mostly on social media profiles like Instagram, and have either very basic websites or none at all. This situation made me curious whether focusing resources on optimizing our website would still give a significant advantage, or if it would be more effective to prioritize optimizing our Google Business Profile and improving engagement on social media platforms instead. I’m trying to understand how Google evaluates local relevance and if a website’s role has shifted in this context. Thanks again for your valuable input!
Two Different Businesses, Same Address - How to Avoid GBP Suspension?
Hi Zanet, I would like to ask for advice regarding Google Business Profile (GBP) setup for two businesses at the same physical address. The situation: - I have a 3-floor shophouse (ruko). - Ground floor: Cafe business. - Second floor: Beauty clinic business. - Both are legally separate, with different names, phone numbers, and services. - But the street address is exactly the same. My questions: 1. Can I create two GBP profiles for these different businesses, even if the address is the same? 2. Should I specify “Floor 1” / “Floor 2” in the address to help Google differentiate? 3. What are the best practices to prevent future suspension after verification in this case? I want to follow the correct way to avoid any policy violations or accidental suspensions. Thank you in advance for your help and advice.
Profile Suspended After Verification & Accidental Appeal Submission
Hi Zanet, My Google Business Profile was suddenly suspended after verification. While checking, I opened the appeal page but didn’t submit anything. After 60 minutes, the system auto-submitted the appeal without any input from me. Now the profile shows "appeal submitted" even though I couldn’t provide any explanation or documents. I’ve already followed up to request reopening the appeal. My main questions: - How can I avoid this auto-submit situation in the future? - What is the correct process after verification to prevent sudden suspension? - Any tips to ensure a safe profile setup so this doesn't happen again? Thank you in advance for your advice.
