Exciting Content Shift news
We are 10 people (9 if you include me in the count 🤗) away from 50 members in 3 months!!!!! Why this excites me is because my previous membership, Behind the Content Social Club (it was a mouthful) flopped at only 12 members in 1 year! Not because I didn't want to put the work in, I was exhausted and burnout before I started! And it showed. This community excites me, it lights me up and I want to do so much with it for you!🫶 Why am I sharing this? Because I want you to see the whole story. Not just the “look, it’s growing” part. The “I almost quit” part. The “I doubted myself” part. The “I had to rebuild my confidence” part. And because if you’re in that place right now… You’re not behind. You’re becoming. THANK YOU all for making this an incredible community!

For me Skool to me is an evolutionary process, thank you for your honesty is this post. The thing I like most about Skool is as I’m growing I’m learning things not only about myself but also about others. I’m just getting up to speed on a few things like checking in, engaging and connecting. I’m struggling with front end vs back end stuff. But I’ve learned if I stick with it and keep being consistent and adaptable I’ll get there!
I'm curious 🤔
It’s late, but this question’s been sitting with me. 💭 As our community grows, I really want to make sure new members feel genuinely welcomed, not just “added to a group.” What are the best welcome practices you’ve seen on Skool?
I'm curious 🤔

@Krista Brea I post it in General Discussion in my community, but I also send a DM when they sign up.

@Krista Brea I have a pinned welcome post and allow them to introduce themselves to the community, I have seen it done in other communities and it seems to work fine. Here's mine: https://www.skool.com/homesafe-safety-security-5253/welcome-to-your-homesafe-community?p=b5cc3c57 15-30 sign-ups, I wish I had that problem LOL
Let’s stir the pot 🍲
What’s a social media “rule” that needs to be retired immediately? I’ll start: “Post every day or the algorithm will forget you.” That advice has convinced way too many smart business owners that rest = failure and quiet seasons = falling behind. Spoiler: the algorithm doesn’t punish humans for having a life. But burnout will punish your business What advice made you feel like you were constantly behind — even when you were doing your best?

Taking everything to heart, don’t listen to the naysayers!

Well isn’t that fun. 😅 I just banned a member for posting a spammy comment in here — and I want to be really clear about something: - I will never put membership numbers over keeping this community safe. - This space is meant to feel supportive, genuine, and human. - A place where you can show up, ask questions, share what you’re working on, and get help without worrying that someone is lurking in the comments trying to sell to you, scam you, or take advantage of you. ✅ You are absolutely welcome to post your social media content in here and ask for feedback/support. That’s literally why this community exists. But 🚫 spammy comments, sketchy links, fake “DM me for info” posts, and anything that looks like phishing/scam behaviour will not be tolerated. If it feels even remotely like someone is trying to “bait” members into clicking or giving personal info, they’re gone. Immediately. I see this happen in other Skool communities all the time — and I also run a 17K Facebook group, so trust me when I say: I’ve seen every version of scammy internet nonsense. 😅 I’m always watching for it, but I’d also love your help… 👀 If you ever see something that feels spammy or off, please report it to me right away. Even if you’re not 100% sure — I’d rather check it and keep everyone protected than have it sit here unanswered. Thank you for helping keep this space what it’s supposed to be: ✨ a safe place to learn, share, and grow, without the gross internet nonsense.🤍

Unfortunately it’s becoming more and more prevalent in a lot of communities, as soon as I see it, I report it to admin.
Instagram Edits App Updates This Week
Update your EDITS app because… 👀 If you’re creating Reels (or even thinking about creating Reels), this week’s update is actually worth your time. Edits just rolled out upgrades that make content creation easier + more interactive — without needing extra apps. Here’s what’s new: 🔗 Instagram Links (inside the app) You can now add a clickable link overlay… BUT here’s the key: ✅ You can link to: an Instagram account (yours or another creator’s) a public Reel ❌ You cannot link to: websites outside offers anything off Instagram Still super useful for: - “Go watch Part 2” style series directing people to a pinned Reel - sending traffic to your profile - collaborations + creator shoutouts - “This is who inspired this” receipts 👏 💡 Weekly Ideas Edits will give you 10 fresh Reel ideas each week based on what you’ve shared. You can save, edit, or skip — but honestly, this is such a good solution for “I don’t know what to post.” 🎬 Takes on Storyboards You can record multiple takes of audio + video in your storyboard and pick the best one before editing. Translation: less pressure to be perfect + way less refilming. ✨ New Video Effects New creative effects like bounce, fisheye, blackout and more. Not mandatory, but fun for scroll-stopping moments or pattern breaks. If you haven’t updated Edits in a while… go do it now. This is one of those updates that actually gives creators more power and saves you time. Question: Which feature are you most excited to try — Instagram Links, Weekly Ideas, Takes, or Effects?
