"Blue" Monday, but not depressing 😊
For the first time in about 20 years, I have cleared out my closet. It was necessary: I lost some weight and started doing CrossFit. Before I buy new things, I try out combinations of the clothes that still fit me or fit me again. My office outfit for today consists of: blue jacket white long-sleeved shirt blue scarf (to protect my neck) brown leather belt (matching my shoes) blue jeans long socks in dark navy brown leather shoes BTW: Antonio would probably say β€˜those shoes scream 2000’. And yes – they are almost 20 years old and probably no longer fashionable. However, I didn't want to just throw them away, as they were expensive at the time and I have taken good care of them over the years. What do you think? Should I get rid of the shoes? Any other helpful proposals?

@Geoff Saunders Thanks for the confirmation. I'm currently feeling very uncertain because I really want to change my style. For the first time in my life, I'm paying attention to the effect my clothes might have.
WINNER for the "Turning Point" Challenge πŸ₯πŸ₯πŸ₯
Gents - this challenge was a blast! We had so many transformation and turning-point stories shared, and every single one was inspiring in its own way. Seeing you guys show up, reflect, and take action is exactly what this community is about. Now… for the winner πŸ₯πŸ₯πŸ₯ πŸ† WINNER: @Sean Kavanaugh Sean’s turning point started with years of feeling limited by his size β€” wearing looser clothes to hide, tailoring only for length, and cycling through β€œprogress… then back to old habits.” Then life changed the trajectory. He stepped into a new chapter, started carrying himself differently, and eventually hit the real wake-up call: About 18 months ago, he woke up with his knees hurting and decided, β€œEnough is enough.” He committed to keto and consistent workouts β€” and that kickstarted not just weight loss, but a complete style evolution. What changed for Sean: - He’s down 75 pounds, with another 15–20 to go - Fit became the priority β€” not β€œwhatever works,” but β€œwhat actually looks sharp” - He rebuilt his wardrobe intelligently (thrift + resale + tailoring) as his body changed - He leveled up so much that in December he bought an off-the-rack suit that only needed a hem β€” not a full reconstruction And the best part? He didn’t keep it to himself. He posts consistently, tracks his progress, and credits the community for helping him feel more confident in who he is β€” and where he’s going. @Sean Kavanaugh β€” we're proud of you! Everyone else: keep those stories coming in the community feed. This is how we build momentum β€” one decision, one upgrade, one win at a time!

Just Amazing!
A splash of color in the grey – Why I love the yellow rain jacket 😊
(Style-Hack: No style rules violated. The jacket is a Power Investment in good mood πŸ€and falls under the "Functionality Clause".) Today is December 1st. The Advent season begins. πŸŽ… Outside in Germany, the days couldn't be greyer. The sky is grey, the streets are grey – and the wardrobes of most people seem to adapt to the weather. πŸ˜Άβ€πŸŒ«οΈ Black, dark blue, anthracite: The color palette of many commuters is as dismal as the weather itself. If you're not careful, you arrive at the office not just tired, but spiritually greyed out. That's where I come in – in my bright yellow rain jacket. A luminous splash of color in the sea of monotony and by now almost my personal trademark. During my morning bike ride to the office, I noticed something: Color seems to be a taboo in winter. As I cheerfully cycle through the rain, some passersby give me irritated looks (*) and others smile. Perhaps they are thinking: "What is that guy doing? Is he trying to play the sun?" Who knows? Perhaps we should more often dare to show a little color in our everyday lives and light our "personal Advent light". Because sometimes, all it takes is a small splash of color to brighten up the day, not just for yourself, but for others too. (*) That could, of course, also be due to my "Last Ninja Lookalike" face shield 😁 Finally: I wish everyone in the community a wonderful and peaceful Christmas season with lots of fashionable gifts under the tree! πŸŽ„

@Carl Ronny Birkeland Thank you for trusting in my self confidence. But when it comes to my new fashion style, I'm still very undecided at the moment 😊
Lost 50 pounds
Lost 50 pounds in 4 months. Now my trousers are all way to big. So I just gather the excess on the sides for now. Any other suggestions while I get around to buying new trousers.

Respect! πŸ‘ I can not tell you what to do but I can tell you what I am actually doing 😊 1. I checked all clothes in my wardrobe (my weight was going up and down during years). Which clothes are still OK and fit to my current body shape and age? 2. I avoid to buy lots of new clothes in "panic", trying to take my time while choosing. 3. I bought a pair of straight navy and dark grey jeans. 4. I bought one new business shirt to start my "new life" 5. I avoid buying new clothes just because they are in sale at the moment. I prefer fit over price. You'll have to find your own way. But this might bring you a lot of fun! Good luck! πŸ€
Outfit of October 15th
Outfit I wore almost a week ago, my favorite outfit recently so I decided to post it. I believe I haven't shown it yet on this group, but this is my first custom suit, which arrived about a month ago. It's a wool/linen blend, hence the prominent wrinkles, which I don't mind since it's meant as a casual everyday suit. The fabric lends itself well to both summer weather, as well as mid-season such as fall or spring. It's an 1890s sack suit style, with a 4-button jacket, straight-legged trousers, and a straight-hem waistcoat. Planning to commission a few more custom suits in a same or similar design. Quite happy with it. Also the polka dot tie is one of my favorites, I recently got a few polka dot bow ties and ties like this, and I've been wearing them nonstop, my new favorite pattern.

Terrific! If that's your "everyday" outfit, what does your Sunday wardrobe look like?
