Need Help!
Ok as you guys can see in the image, I am black and I am in such a good position. If you observe carefully, you will see I am timeouted and therefore I lost this match and lost 29 elo for nothing. Please let me know how can I get faster in my games. Also thanks a lot chess master school, I've improved a lot after joining this.

Try to study the openings you use so that you can play them quickly, saving time. Puzzles will help you with pattern recognition. Try to play with time settings having an increment (I do this too, recommended by all advanced players I've seen).
Positional Nugget 2
Time for the second one in this series! What move would you play here as white and why? Top engine choices are (in order): Be2 Bxd7+ Qe2 a4 Also let me know why do you think Be2 is considered the best one here i.e. what is the thought process behind it?

Positional Nugget Day 1
Hey guys! :) As I told you all yesterday, we're gonna look at a position everyday and discuss the pros and cons of each move that comes to mind. This position is from one of my games I played 5 days ago. In this position, the moves which came in my mind (In order of which I thought were best) where these : Qa5 Nbd7 e5 Na6 If you open the engine here, it suggests many other moves such d5 or a6 as well, it also says that Qa5 makes it +1.3 and Nbd7 makes it 0.4. My question is this: If both these moves are very common in this opening system(refer King's Indian Defence and Pirc Defence), why is it that Qa5 (or even Qc7 here) gave advantage to white??? Like...what exactly is the thing which went BAD? What exploitable weakness did I create with Qa5 which Nbd7 didn't? Do let me know why you would play any other move in this position as well so that we all can share our knowledge and understand the various thought processes different players have! :) See you all tomorrow with the next positional nugget!🙌🏻

Daily Positional Nuggets
Hey guys! I've been a little casual with my chess training recently because of academics. Since I can't go very intensive again in it for quite some time, I was thinking of trying a new way to learn in the meantime. Here's what's I am thinking👀 Since mistakes usually occur when your mind goes "I knew what to do till here🤔...but now I am confused🫠...so I'll have to look into multiple options without any guidance." and chooses the wrong option☠️, I have been thinking of how to counter this specific problem/gap in my thought process (this being a positional chess problem which usually occurs after a player finishes the opening phase of a game) That's why every day I will post a position from my own game, where my mind didn't really have an idea of what to do almost instantly(unlike in previous moves of the game). I will also tell what I thought to be the best move and why (e.g. I played this knight backwards so that I can reroute it to a better square). You all can tell me your thought processes in the comments about why you think my move wasn't the best, which one is indeed the best, and how to determine why it was the best. Lemme know if this sounds good and I'll see you all tomorrow with the first positional nugget!🙌🏻
