Hey guys! I've been a little casual with my chess training recently because of academics. Since I can't go very intensive again in it for quite some time, I was thinking of trying a new way to learn in the meantime.
Here's what's I am thinking👀
Since mistakes usually occur when your mind goes "I knew what to do till here🤔...but now I am confused🫠...so I'll have to look into multiple options without any guidance." and chooses the wrong option☠️, I have been thinking of how to counter this specific problem/gap in my thought process (this being a positional chess problem which usually occurs after a player finishes the opening phase of a game)
That's why every day I will post a position from my own game, where my mind didn't really have an idea of what to do almost instantly(unlike in previous moves of the game).
I will also tell what I thought to be the best move and why (e.g. I played this knight backwards so that I can reroute it to a better square).
You all can tell me your thought processes in the comments about why you think my move wasn't the best, which one is indeed the best, and how to determine why it was the best.
Lemme know if this sounds good and I'll see you all tomorrow with the first positional nugget!🙌🏻
