Hello everyone. How's it going? Recently reached 1400 on Rapid (chess.com). My next goal is to reach 1500 and participate in the OTB tournament (U1800) for the second time. That's why I've started solving as many puzzles as I can. At the same time, I'm planning to start reading Mihail Marin's book to prepare for the opening. I'm open to any advice or ideas from the experienced players here.

I have a tournament soon, but how do you check what openings your opponents (soon to face) play and how to check their main weakness ans strengths can someone tell me how to access these information?

Guys whats difference between learning chess with computers and books!? I clearly understand how it looks like but always do people study books nowadays more than computers!?. To understand?

Hey does anyone have good blitz tips to improve consistency? I either play great or like a 500 and fluctuate between 1400-1550 while my rapid is up at 1850 I'm debating playing with increment but I seem to be at a huge plateau
