Day 1: OPEN LOOP
Finally after overwhelm and frustration I finally managed to navigate through to the 3 questions (it isn't very clear/easy to navigate). My open loop is folding the washing 🥴 But it doesn't wake me at 2am.

I just ignored the 2 am criterion - I'm so good at procrastination that I can sleep right through it! 🥀
Day 1 ✅
My insight after completing the questions “You move in pictures. So the "twice as long" isn't slow comprehension, it's translation work nobody told you that you were doing, and you've been billing yourself for the delay as though it were a defect. The systems didn't expose a flaw in you. They were simply written in a dialect you were never given.” This makes so much sense to me. My open loop…send the email Ive been avoiding

The word "translating" is helpful to me! It's an apt descriptor of what I usually describe as "needing to make something my own" before I can take action. I need to TRANSLATE the idea into my own language, usually in outline form, and then I can find a place from which to start. Isn't it amazing how little things, such a one word, can trigger deeper meaning and new ideas?🌸
Day 1 - Open Loop 🐈
I am choosing the most distasteful open loop to work on: a narrow (@6") lower kitchen cabinet that holds baking sheets and was invaded by mice months ago. I have been ignoring it, easy when there's a door and I haven't missed much that's in there. The mice went bye-bye many months ago, but I haven't been up to facing the task - the last one of that particular adventure of my life. 🐁
Eye Opening - Find your water
In AI I said "talking to my husband about my decisions feels like a foreign language", and now I know why. I come home talking about what I tried. He's reading whether it worked. Also my list of things I've tried has no apps on it, just books, courses, coaches, prayer. All of it asking someone else to tell me I'm okay. Basically I am looking for someone else to tell me I am enough. I need to learn how to tell myself I am.

"All of it asking someone else to tell me I'm okay." That's what I found from the onboarding and 3 chapters of the ADHD Operating Manual - someone to tell me that I am okay and, of all things, it was ME speaking through a machine!! I'm still in awe. Now I need to truly accept it.🌻
Day 1
I am a chronic procrastinator. My house is in a terrible state of clutter. Other people's methods of getting tasks done don't work for me bcs I either just don't start as there's always something more interesting/enjoyable to do first, or I get distracted by something I find when I'm supposed to be sorting stuff out.
