Fabric Deployment pipelines parameterization
Dear community, I have deployment pipelines created between Dev and Prod. My data source is Azure SQL DB. During Dev, I would like to connect to my Dev SQL DB and I would like to change the connection manager to point to Prod Azure SQL DB( like environments in SSIS DB deployments) Where and How can I configure this?

Atleast one deployment is required. After that you should be able to configure the deployment rules (lightning 🌩️ ⚡ sign)
Fabric Solution
Hi all, I would like to know in what situations Fabric will be the best solution? Thank you!

Few advantages, 1. Complete e2e analytics platform 2. Saas offerings, no hardware to manage ,no software patch to update . 3. One place to store all your data (OneLake) 4. One format for all your data (open delta parquet) 5. One security to manage 6. Easy data discovery, governance, etc..
Seeking Alternative Version Control Practices Without Git or DevOps Integration
Hi all, I’m curious about how others members handle version control when Git or DevOps tools integration in Fabric aren’t an option (not activated in my tenant). If you work with alternative systems, I’d love to hear about your approach to collaboration, tracking changes, and any unique advantages you’ve found. Your insights on overcoming the challenges of non-Git workflows would be greatly appreciated... Thanks!

Hi Stephane, I used to keep the pbi template file in SharePoint for version control. Unfortunately this is manual effort. Given the fact that now you can save the report using PBIP, I would encourage you to use the PBIP and manually upload the folders into SharePoint except the actual datafile (abf file)
What are your biggest pain points currently with Fabric?
Hey everyone, happy Monday! I'm currently planning out future content for the YouTube channel, and want to always produce the content that is most relevant/helpful to you! So, some questions: - What are your biggest pain points currently with Fabric? - Anything you're struggling to understand? - Things you think are important, but don't quite grasp yet? It's this kind of engagement that led to the Power BI -> Fabric series, and then the DP-600 series, so I thought I'd open it up to you again! Look forward to hearing from you - thank you! Here's some potential things: - Delta file format - integrating AI/ ML/ Azure AI / Open AI - copilot - Git integration / deployment pipelines / CI/CD - data modelling / implementing SCDs - medallion implementation - more advanced pyspark stuff - data pipelines - metadata driven workflows - dataflows (and optimising dataflows) - lakehouse achitectures - real-time - data science projects - semantic link - migrating semantic models - using python to manage semantic models - administration/ automation - fabric api - other...?

Storage account behind firewall, needs private endpoints created to enable access. You can go to fabric workspace>settings>private endpoint. I think managed workspace identify is another way to access private blobs. These are few preview features around network security Microsoft ad lauched recently.
