Introduction to the Community
Hello guys, allow me to introduce myself, as i am a newbie here. My name´s Bernie, i´m from Austria and i´m working as a PowerBI/AI Trainer and Consultant and i want to exceed my knowledge regarding Fabric, as this looks quite amazing, what i´ve seen so far :) Looking forward fpr a great exchange with you guys 👍👍😃

Have you noticed the giant leaps in AI models?
Hey everyone! Have you been keeping up-to-date with the latest generation of AI models? If you HAVEN'T, then I recommend checking them out - they are insane to be honest - I'm talking Claude Opus 4.5, Gemini 3.0, GPT 5.1 etc. Has huge implications for how we will work in the future. I'm just figuring out the best workflows for implementing these models in Fabric workflows, I'll share more of my thinking and research in the following weeks/ months, but I'm interested - have you been keeping up-to-date with the LLM updates? Have you been thinking about how to integrate into Fabric - let me know what you've found so far!

This is slightly off-topic, but my friends and I are collaborating on writing parody songs, and I've been diving into using AI music tools lately for the production of our clips. Seriously, the results are impressive... Has anyone else experimented with AI generative music ? @Will Needham perhaps you can use this to create a track for the dojo 😉?

@Bernd Brandl Suno is impressive indeed... Warner Music has already warned Suno with a lawsuit in the US... But sounds like it turned into a partnership....

Direct OneLake Semantic Models - Deployment Rules
Hi, Are deployment rules for Direct OneLake semantic models not yet supported? My UAT and PROD Direct Lake models are still pointing to the DEV environment. Deployment rules menu appears greyed out and cannot be modified... Has anyone found a workaround for this issue? Thanks :

@Will Needham Thanks Will, that would be really great is this autobinding feature is released for Direct Onelake after the Fabcon... Let us know if you have some new info around this topic !

@Will Needham I saw the announcement about full CI/CD does it mean Direct Onelake will benefit from autobiding ? That would solve my issue...

Direct onelake vs Import conversion

Delta Incremental load with Pyspark
Hi all, I’m writing Delta tables in a Spark notebook, partitioned by a date column. Usually I do a full overwrite, but I’m thinking of switching to: .option("partitionOverwriteMode", "dynamic") Has anyone tested this option in Fabric? I’d be curious to hear your feedback or gotchas. Thanks!
