Reading List
Hey team, Looking at the Men of Action reading list and wanted to get some input from the group. So far, I’ve finished: Extreme Ownership Flow Gates of Fire How to Win Friends & Influence People The Subtle Art of Not Giving a F*ck The Millionaire Next Door The Rational Male The Rational Male – Positive Masculinity Still have a long list ahead, but would love to hear your thoughts… Which book from the rest of the list had the biggest impact on you personally, and why? Or, if you had to pick just one for me to start next, which one would it be? Looking forward to hearing your recommendations. Stay in the fight.

@Max Peck In agreement on the monetary debasement problem. Also, you are right on being frugal is quasi-beneficial in the current environment. -Respect

@Joseph Pimental Over correcting the system... Things like to come back to equilibrium. It is fascinating.
Marketing Push and Pull (Would love help!)
This is for the marketing guys out there. I was curious about how you differentiate between push and pull marketing. This may seem like a super general question, but I am looking for examples or cases of each. One example I had in mind was a conversation I had with an undergraduate student about their project. This was a moment where you lead the horse to water rather than say “hey, do this.” However, I know that with simpler calls to action it makes sense to say things like “click below” or “do not delay.” Clearest thing that I could think of is the difference of the 'cross roads' close and 'act now'. The connection to all of this dating content is that preselection as proof works in a similar way to the implication behind pull marketing. In many ways I see Sartain as someone who has mastered pull marketing for dating and leadership. I would love to see comments from people in sales, marketing, or anyone who wants to join the conversation.

Bro, there is so much truth to that. Strength and conditioning too.
The simple skills action framework I use - 3 steps:
Long time I added value here guys. Been busy haha! When learning something new (a skill) I look for 3 things to structure my approach. First look for the top 3 books on the subject, second look for the top 3 seminars/courses on the subject and last look for the top 3 experts (the people) on the subject. Start from there.

Appreciate the framework @Bart Gerard could you give an example on why this method works. I'm skeptical as the top 3 books on a subject a novice won't know. Also, how far does this go because if someone is looking at a topic such as evolutionary psychology what does the book cover. (War, status, sexuality, genetics, crime, etc...)

@Bart Gerard Agree with you on imperfect action is better beats perfect procrastinating! It makes complete sense on how you are finding the information. Frameworks are super useful in setting a fast way of thinking through problems. Glad you clarified in the conversation and keep it coming!
Don't Argue
Do not argue with women ever. You don't win by proving her wrong. You win by refusing to play. Smile, smirk, change the subject, or if need be, walk away. You dictate the terms, you decide when you want to take a woman on the Emotional Rollercoaster. Always be the cause of creating emotions for women, never the effect. If you are reacting emotionally due to her actions, you're on her frame. Not where you want to be. The man who won't get dragged into drama, is the man she can't get out of her head. She'll wonder whether you care or not, as a result, you'll set yourself apart from the rest of the pack. Detachment > Validation Control > Emotional Reaction Mystery > Debating/Negotiating

"Don't try to change her mind change her mood." That's one of the most powerful aphorism to explain that idea.
