Christmas is over. Now what?
The buildup, the planning, the emotional labor, all of it suddenly stops. And instead of feeling instant relief, many women notice a strange internal pause. Not bad. Just… different. This is something my research has consistently shown: Women don’t just experience stress…we absorb it. We carry it in our bodies, our nervous systems, and our emotional load. Many women live in a near-constant state of being needed, anticipating needs, and holding things together for everyone else. So when the pressure finally lifts, even when it’s a good thing, the nervous system doesn’t automatically relax. It needs time to recalibrate. That “off” feeling after the holidays doesn’t mean something is wrong. It means your system is finally exhaling. And here’s the part that matters: You don’t need to rush to fill that space. You don’t need to replace the stress with something new right away. That pause isn’t emptiness…it’s integration. It’s where regulation happens. It’s where your body catches up to your life. If you’re feeling this shift, you’re not alone, and you’re not broken. 💭 Have you noticed this post-holiday shift too?

When you’re always the strong one, where do you go when you need support?
The right community doesn’t magically fix your life. But it does give you a place where you don’t have to pretend you’re okay when you’re not. And sometimes that alone is the thing that helps you breathe again. I created a space for women who are high-capacity, deeply caring, and honestly tired of being the strong one all the time. Women who want to feel like themselves again. Women who are ready for confidence, nervous-system peace, and identity work that actually fits real life… not hustle culture and pressure. If you’ve been craving a place to feel seen, grounded, supported, and not judged, this may be that space for you. I’ll drop the link below if you want to check it out.👇🏽 https://www.skool.com/reframe-rise-women/about?ref=11bf4fa860fd4a5bbcec55629467266a

If this landed for you in that quiet “this is me” kind of way, you’re not alone. I created a space for women who are always the strong one and are ready to stop carrying everything in silence. https://www.skool.com/reframe-rise-women/about?ref=11bf4fa860fd4a5bbcec55629467266a

I hope everyone had a great Christmas (if you celebrate)! For some of us, today is Boxing Day and a welcome day of rest and relaxation with the family. My 6 yo asked this morning why it's called Boxing Day, which resulted in a huge debate about the origins of the holiday. In a day and age when answers are so easily found online, it was kind of nice to sit and argue about all of our personal preconceived notions about the holiday... For those of you who are new (and there are a lot of you!) we are so glad that you are joining us! Since the main community is for promoting your own personal groups and services, we like to take Friday to look outward and share about the communities of others that we think are particularly beneficial and that others would like to know about. This is the only place/time where it's okay to share affiliate links (please disclose in your comment if your link is an affiliate link). IN THE COMMENTS BELOW, please share the name of a community that you think others would like to know about. Provide some context about who it's for and how they will benefit. Include the link, and then also mention or DM the person who owns the group to let them know you promoted them in the Classifieds. i guarantee you will make their day! #FriendFriday recommendations made in new posts will be deleted.

I didn’t realize how much my husband’s personal growth would lower my stress — until it happened. That’s why I genuinely support Moose Strong. It’s a community built to help men develop discipline, mindset, and habits that carry into their marriage, their parenting, and how they show up in everyday life — not just the gym. It was built with real relationships and real families in mind. 👉🏽https://www.skool.com/moose-strong-training-5307/about?ref=11bf4fa860fd4a5bbcec55629467266a
This is something I keep noticing with women lately…
A lot of us aren’t stuck because we’re not trying — we’re stuck because we’re carrying too much. Too many expectations. Too many roles. Too much pressure to have it all figured out. One small reframe that’s been helping the women I’m around: 👉 Clarity comes before momentum. 👉 And small, consistent resets matter more than big overhauls. When you give yourself permission to slow the noise, focus on one feeling you want back (calm, energy, confidence, steadiness), and take one grounded step — things start to shift. Gently. In a way that actually lasts. If this resonates and you’re craving a space that supports women in coming back to themselves — without fixing, forcing, or performing — I’ve been building a community around exactly that.

@Jennifer Turner yes!!! Starting now rolling in with momentum!
I got 2 paying referrals from recommending the classifieds!
I recommend the classifieds a lot around skool and 2 of them already converted to paid members, so I'm almost getting my premium membership for free. There is no better place for self promotion and this place is the main reason why Plan Your Tech reached 100 members. I learn a lot by watching how @Shannon Boyer manages this community. She is very creative in finding ways to engage people here and incentivizing them to make high quality posts and not turning this place into a spamming mess like most self promotion spaces are. Thank you so much for all of you here for helping this place be what it is!
