I have a photoshoot upcoming this weekend and I want to get some outside opinions before I set anything in stone. Location 1(outdoor nature preserve with rocks waterfalls and greenery My plan was: Olive linen, Dark denim, Thursdays Location 2(almost like a city garden area with old looking stone architecture) My plan: Cream linen, White chinos, Brown chukkas Location 3 old part of the city urban district with older architecture and brickwork showing through the blacktop on roads) My plan Gray t shirt under brown suede jacket, Dark denim, Brown chukkas Location 4 (city metro park with river, fountains, and bridges) My plan: Midnight blue polo Dark denim Brown chukkas Location 5(classy little cocktail lounge in the evening) My plan: Black silk shirt, Either grey dress pants or white chinos (can't decide) Either brown chukkas or black chelseas (can't decided might be dependent on pants. Leaning towards grey pants and chelseas) Would appreciate input let me know if there's anything you'd swap out (in the way of shirt/pants/shoe combinations, even if it isn't pictured suggest it; I may have it) everything can pretty much go together (the magic of Antonio's interchangeable wardrobe, but some things go together better than others. Wedding, but not in the wedding party. I'm 63yo 6' in shape. I go to a gentleman's store Brides mother is my date. I have a formal black wool. Shawl lapel, flat front trousers. Jacket is fitted, and I have a full vest. I bought a pair of the Oxfords that John C recommended. I'm wanting to be very cool, formal, relaxed. Not snooty. What accessories do I use to make this tux pop while still staying formal. 1- I'm thinking most on the shirt. No black buttons. What kind of collar? What brand of tux shirt? 2-Socks, can I go with something fun like black with small white polka dots? Or formal black? 3-cufflinks, 4-suspenders, 6-better vest? 7-What color pocket square? Do I have to go black? 8- can I fit the pants different? They seem baggy to me. Where to I edit them, what do I tell the seemstress? Give me any of your experienced tricks that make this a sweet set up.

I wore this outfit the other day. I like the blue, not a shade I have worn before. I am curious to know the view on the length of the chinos, personal I think with loafers no break is the go. But I am very interested to get the group view on this one.

Remember when these came out 20 years ago? It was considered a trend and to stay away from these unless you wanted to look like you were chasing trends. Well, 20 years later and they are still around. What are your thoughts on these shirts?

G'Day Gents, At the start of this year, I began work on writing a book with the goal of independently publishing it by the year's end. Whilst the goal of publishing the book by December is now unlikely, I'm pleased to announce that as of yesterday, I have officially finished the first draft of my book and hope to get things rolling on the publishing front sometime next week.
