I have a photoshoot upcoming this weekend and I want to get some outside opinions before I set anything in stone. Location 1(outdoor nature preserve with rocks waterfalls and greenery My plan was: Olive linen, Dark denim, Thursdays Location 2(almost like a city garden area with old looking stone architecture) My plan: Cream linen, White chinos, Brown chukkas Location 3 old part of the city urban district with older architecture and brickwork showing through the blacktop on roads) My plan Gray t shirt under brown suede jacket, Dark denim, Brown chukkas Location 4 (city metro park with river, fountains, and bridges) My plan: Midnight blue polo Dark denim Brown chukkas Location 5(classy little cocktail lounge in the evening) My plan: Black silk shirt, Either grey dress pants or white chinos (can't decide) Either brown chukkas or black chelseas (can't decided might be dependent on pants. Leaning towards grey pants and chelseas) Would appreciate input let me know if there's anything you'd swap out (in the way of shirt/pants/shoe combinations, even if it isn't pictured suggest it; I may have it) everything can pretty much go together (the magic of Antonio's interchangeable wardrobe, but some things go together better than others. I just moved back to the mountains after 25 years in Miami. What type of jacket/coat should I look for for winter? I have my old Navy flight jacket for cold/snow type days, but I need something to wear out to dinner, brewery, things like that. I mostly wear chinos and performance pants (Rhône, Lululemon etc). I found a nice overcoat or topcoat today at Macys and it’s on Labor Day sale, it hits about the knee so I think that’s a good length, I don’t want the down filled parkas and stuff, I want something stylish. Any suggestions?

Generally speaking, if you watch any men’s style or lifestyle channel (RMRS included) smartwatches typically get a bad rep. I am one who goes against this rule majority of the time. Until this neck injury that I am recovering from, I was very active. I had a fitness plan that kept me active at least 5-6 days per week alternating between weight training and and yoga. As such, I like to track that on my watch. In addition, I work in an office where it is typically frowned upon to have your phone visible. With my smartwatch, if I do get an important message or call I don’t miss those. What I did as a compromise is I purchased a set of real leather watch bands. I have one in black and one in a lovely brown. I also have a stainless steel and gold/stainless metal band if I need to be a bit dressier. I get compliments on a regular basis about my watch. Also, the newer versions of the Apple Watch are much slimmer and less obvious than previous versions. Let’s talk about it, shall we?

How important is horsemanship to the modern-day gentleman? Hundred years ago I'd say it was a very important subject to be learned, but now days I'd say a majority of men have little to no idea how to ride a horse. I use a horse for my job, so horsemanship is important skill for me. For a banker man though, I'd say basic vehicle maintenance is the modern day equivalent. What are y'all thoughts?
