Should I delete these emails from my list?
I have an email question. I have a large number of weird signups. They always have a similar "first name" of random letters, but they often have a "real-ish" sounding email. I've been told it could be accounts looking for vulnerabilities to hack my list and I should delete them, but that sounds a little unbelievable, so I'm trying to get other opinions. It's over 200 of my list of 1k. Here's a sample.

Win! Today I got monetized 🄳
Hi all! Today I got to turn on ads monetization for YouTube! I’ve been all-in for 18 weeks in a niche with no one else - help for people converting to Judaism. There’s a big need in this area but few resources, for complicated reasons. You’re just one video away from big things! Just two (2!) viral-for-me videos built this channel. That’s a little frustrating because I’ve put out so many videos in this time, but I can see how much I’m learning as I grow.

Managing video files
Hello, can I ask how you all manage your video files? Do you keep each video clip as well as the completed long video that was uploaded to YouTube on a hard drive? Or is the completed file enough and then dump all the footage taken to free up space? I watched a video on keeping video pieces, photos graphics etc. saved separately as well as the completed video and I fail to understand why you need to keep every little piece after the video is uploaded. Yes, the thumbnail, but each individual clip? Wouldn't the completed file be enough if YT went down? For clarity, I have a travel vlog, not a talking head channel, and each video has a lot of clips.

I've seen a lot of creators store all their content off the computer on a removable drive of some kind. Right now I'm storing all mine on my laptop, but I recently replaced mine and prioritized getting a lot of storage. I keep the raw footage in one folder. I have a "finished videos" folder. And my editing software (Descript) keeps the project in the cloud with the option to also download it onto my device. Technically, I keep it stored in my Dropbox account but also downloaded on my laptop. I'm not short on space, so I don't feel a need to triage. When that happens, I will. Until then, the benefits of having it available just in case, especially since I'm fairly new, is worth the future time when I'll need to clean house for a few hours probably. Especially as a travel vlog, you're sitting on a wealth of b-roll or other repurposable content. Mine is less so, but I've repurposed a couple of clips. More important is backing up whatever your method is very frequently. But fundamentally, I don't want to rely on platforms I don't control. It's unlikely, but I could lose access to my YT account or other platforms (or they could shut down without notice). A FB page I followed for a long time got hacked and she lost everything while someone else took over her page and turned it into their page, stealing her thousands of followers. FB wouldn't restore her access and that new "company" is still running it over a year later with regular posts. I stay a follower because I keep hoping they'll restore her access. I only know about any of it because I was also on her email list.

@Sherri Jo Wilkins I know, right?? That was a real shocker that has really affected how I see these big tech giants. It's apparently a lot more common than people would expect. I already knew they were terrible at taking down fake accounts pretending to be businesses and scamming people through DMs. You can report all you want, but whether they do anything is a crapshoot.
Live call this week is Cancelled 🄲
Hey everyone, I hate to say it, but we’re currently drowning in sickness over here—pretty much the whole family is down, and I haven’t slept in a solid week. It’s been the most intense flu I’ve seen in this household since COVID. Because of that, I haven’t been as present here this week, and I really appreciate your understanding. Let’s plan to resume next week, unless by some miracle things take a big turn for the better. If that happens, I might be able to do a call on Friday—but I can’t make any promises just yet. Missing you guys!!! ā¤ļø Thanks so much for your patience and support. šŸ™
