Thumbnail text should not be the same as the video title.. yes, they should work together but not be exactly the same. You have a short space to make a first impression to get the click.. 🙂

Same.. I tried ChatGpT to help design a thumbnail a while back.. I would be happy with the design other than a word spelled incorrectly. So i'd tell Chat to not change anything other than the spelling of the word.. and each time it came back with a changes in the entire design and even more misspellings. After too many backs and forths and wasting of time, I fired Chat and told it so.. It was hilarious to see it agree with my reason and offered, "you don't have to, but if you give me one more chance, i can do this right." And it did! But I still don't use Chat to design.. that experiment failed. But what I do is design my own, usually 2-3 options I end up being happy with and then send all 3 over to chat for critique. And sometimes it really helps. For example, brighten my face by 10 pts and increase contrast (or whatever is need in my design).. Sometimes I implement those suggestions I never would have though of.. and I think it helps!

Great idea Alexa! I'm not sure what you mean by packaging the videos for browse.. but I'm personally in a phase of interpreting the analytics on my channel to see where I went wrong (or right sometimes).. why some videos do better than others. Was my hook off, my thumbnail off, but clarity on analytics maybe?

I'm still using Capcut for long. After I upload my long video I go back Capcut and choose the long to short AI feature within Capcut (since I am already paying for it) and it gives me some great options. But I still need to tweak them, however it seems OK for now. I made 3 shorts this morning from my video I finished last night. Same as you, I tried Quso and didn't love what I was getting shorts.
