🎥 Communication & Difficult Conversations Series 3/10
Quick Recap: Video 1 of 10 — Internal Dialogue Video 2 of 10 — Pressure, Emotional Control & Presence Video 3 of 10 — Confidence, Energy, Excitement & Conviction Let’s talk about something most people misunderstand. Confidence. Most people think confidence is about what you say. But it actually starts before you even speak. People feel you before they understand you. You might recognize this: • You walk into a room and feel nervous right away • You start talking faster than you want to • Your tone changes without you noticing • You try to sound confident instead of actually feeling steady By the time you start speaking, your energy is already setting the tone. That’s the real problem. It’s not just your words… it’s how you show up. In this video, we break that down. We talk about how confidence is felt before it’s heard, how to manage your energy, and how to stay steady rather than react to the room. Because in every conversation, meeting, or room… Someone is setting the tone. The question is: Is it you? I have also attached a post from @Jack Shiller that I thought was spot on about confidence :) If you apply this, you’ll start to: • feel more steady going into conversations • control your pace and tone better • stop reacting to the room and start leading it • communicate with more clarity and conviction 💬 Reflection when going into your next conversation, meeting, or presentation… Think about a situation this week where you usually feel nervous or unsure. (If any) ﹥ What will you do differently based on what you learned here? 💬 Now let’s bring it to real life: > What is YOUR definition of Confidence? ﹥ Think about your last meeting or conversation where you felt very confident. What was different about your energy, tone, or preparation?

﹥ What is YOUR definition of Confidence? Putting in so many reps that you KNOW your capable of doing what you are doing next. I'm trying to improve that in every area of life. It's either learn as much as possible on that topic and just doing the thing that moves the needle. Because when you do things over and over again you'll inevitably become better at them. ﹥ Think about your last meeting or conversation where you felt very confident. What was different about your energy, tone, or preparation? Last night I was working a nightshift again and there is one person (working with the emergency doctor) known to sometimes be very unfriendly towards teams of paramedics. And we knew that he'd show up at our scene. My colleague got more tense but I knew that if I'm just doing the things we can do he'll be okay. And also somehow he treats me better than some of my colleagues. That's why I was a lot more calm yesterday and therefore was able to work faster and more structured. ﹥ Now, think about a time when you didn’t feel confident. What changed? It was probably nervousness because I knew I could have done more. But realizing I could change how I feel and improve that gives me motivation to prepare better for the next time a big test happens or whatever situation I get into.

@Bruno Militz Ohh you are spot on! And yes I've sat there and it really was that deep😂 I just remind myself of the end goals for that particular are of life and it gives me back motivation to at least give it everything I've got for that day. And the next. And then the next. So the system works this way in Austria. You have ambulances with just 2-3 paramedics. But if there are more serious cases and you need a doctor then another van comes with one paramedic and one doctor. And there is one (the head of the department) paramedic who's been here for AGES and is well known for being quite strict to the teams of paramedics. I have absolutely no idea why. Probably because he puts himself on an elevated step because he knows his stuff really well and has been doing it for a long time. But if I were him I'd want the teams to look forward to working with me and sharing all my knowledge in a respectful way in a conversation that's actually happening on one level. There are a lot of "leaders" in that organization behaving like their colleagues are "worse" than them and just can't say simple things like "good morning" or have a proper conversation. That's where I learned how I want to be perceived. If I am the one with the highest education on scene I want to communicate in a respectful, friendly way and still lead the case with structure and calmness - everyone working in that field knows that communication might seem quite harsh or strict whenever there is some stressful situation going on and most people see that. And when they get it wrong I'm going to clear that up later if I get the chance (if they are still somewhere where I can reach that - which is not always the case). I want people to enjoy working with me not getting nervous because I might lash out at them. Because if people are nervous they aren't thinking as clearly. And if they aren't thinking clearly mistakes are more likely to happen. And mistakes might mean a life lost instead of one saved.
Don’t start Q2 without doing this first
We just wrapped up our Accountability Call yesterday, and I recorded a 12-minute breakdown for you. I go over how to properly reflect on Q1, set clear checkpoints for Q2, and use the 8 key areas of life to stay structured and on track. I’m also attaching my personal example for Q2 so you can see how I’m approaching it, along with the 8 key areas PDF for you to use. 3 months are already gone. 1/4 of the year 🤯 Yes, time flies when we have fun. Take a real look at what happened in Q1 so you can move into Q2 with intention. Q2 is not about starting over. It’s about adjusting, refining, and continuing with more clarity. Better checkpoints, better focus, better execution, better systems. I'd suggest everyone here take a few minutes today or at the latest next weekend and actually sit down with this (don't wait, please). Not just watching the video, but applying it. Question for you: > How are you feeling for Q2? > What are you most excited about? > How do you feel today compared to how you felt on 01/01/26? > And if you’re open to sharing, what’s one win from Q1 and one lesson you’re taking into Q2? Let’s continue building momentum 💪🏽

@Bruno Militz absolutely! it also makes it so much simpler to create goals because you know at least one thing in each of those areas you could improve on.😊

Monday Inspiration 03/30 - Why Everyone Quits (And Why You Shouldn’t) 👀
Quitting means to stop, leave, or give up on something, and the truth is, it shows up way more in our lives than we like to admit. Every time you start something new, whether it’s a job, a skill, a game, or a new routine, it feels uncomfortable, confusing, and frustrating at the beginning, and that’s exactly the phase where most people decide it’s “not for them.” But if you stay in it long enough, something starts to shift. You begin to understand it, you get better, and what once felt difficult slowly becomes natural. Then one day you look back and think, “This is actually easy,” and the only reason it became easy is that you didn’t quit when it was hard. Most people don’t fail because they’re incapable, they fail because they leave too early. They quit right when things are supposed to feel difficult, and they never give themselves a chance to reach the part where it clicks. The difference between good and great is rarely talent, it’s how long you’re willing to stay when things feel uncomfortable. Good stops when it’s hard, great stays until it becomes natural, and that extra time under pressure is what creates confidence, skill, and results. So if something in your life feels hard right now, don’t rush to label it as “not for you.” Ask yourself instead, am I just in the phase where most people quit? 🎥 I recorded a short video breaking this down. Take a few minutes to watch it. Reflection time: > What’s your real takeaway on “quitting”? > When was the last time you quit something? What was it… and what did it teach you? > Where are you currently performing at a “good” level… but you know you’re close to breaking into “great”? Let's have a phenomenal week 🙏🏽 💪🏽

@Georgiana D Love it! Especially the last part you said: "I don't really quit. I pivot." - I really resonate with that one!

"Quitting is the only way to make sure you never reach your goals." - Since I've heard that whenever I start to think about quitting I am reminding myself why I even started this thing I am doing. Once I remember my why my mind is going back to "there is NO WAY I am quitting this thing until I am exactly where I want to be". That realization makes it a lot easier to just push through the times where you don't really feel like doing anything but you still get up and push through that mental barrier!
Honesty - What most entrepreneurs are (unintentionally) missing
Alex Hormozi always preaches: "state the fact and tell the truth" and I live by that. So today, I had two moments where I could've presented myself better than the objective truth. First moment: I had a call with a free client for my last offer and he asked me about whether or not I'm confident that my DM processes will convert for him. I said "I haven't tested them for months, I don't know and you're probably better of asking somebody with more recent experience" I could've said "Yeah, just test these out and simply iterate if they dont work". But that wasn't the objective truth Second moment: I had a call with a potential client, he said "I'm really interested in your methodology and would love to work with you" and I asked him "are you actively driving new members to your community? because that's not a part of the DFY offer" as he was really focused on going fully away from Skool and letting me manage his community. He said "No, you can do that right?" and I told him that's not part of what I do. And then I simply told him "I don't think my offer makes sense for you in this current state" I could've said "No problem, the price is 1.5k/month and we'll take care of it all". I could've signed a client but kept my honesty first. And that's what most entrepreneurs unintentionally (or intentionally if you're a jerk) miss. - They present themselves higher than they actually are - They take people's money even if they can't fully help them - They ruin their reputation long term because now nobody knows if what they say is actually true. Have you seen this happen for yourself & others?

Reminds me that you should always underpromise and overdeliver. And not the other way around. Well done on keeping your values. But I also think what Bruno said above was great.
👉🏽 Let’s bring the “Personal” into Personal Growth 😎👀
We talk a lot about leadership, goals, growth, discipline… but today let’s switch it up a bit. It’s Friday, and usually we keep it a bit more fun… so let’s combine fun with actually getting to know each other a little better. Let’s get to know the people behind the screen. You can answer all or just a few: • Full name (middle name is optional) 👀 • Where were you born / where do you live now • Birthday (no need for the year 😅) • Favorite hobbies or things you enjoy • Something you’re proud of • One goal or dream for 2026 Looking forward to hearing your stories and seeing you connect and collaborate with others 👇🏽 PS: Accountability Call tomorrow at 10:30 AM for anyone available. We’ll touch on the 8 key areas of life, reflect on Q1, and discuss how to approach Q2. 3 months are already gone… 1/4 of the year 🤯

@Bruno Militz I‘ve never really thought about living abroad because I didn‘t really have the urge yet bit I‘d love to live in Spain for some time at some point. I love that country man. Here graduation isn‘t the same for everyone but you are finished with your degree once you got all the necessary exams.
